LYCRA Ready to Wear Digital
This project is a collaboration project between AKQA Shanghai and JL DESIGN to create 6 videos for LYCRA. There are 3 products from LYCRA; Hosiery, Ready to Wear and Intimate Apparel. The brand wants to let consumers know that Lycra is “the difference that makes the difference” when it comes to clothing durability. To demonstrate that seemingly small differences can massively affect outcomes, each of the films is based around twins, and the differing fortunes of one that wears Lycra and one who doesn’t. Every product has 2 videos; one of the videos is an extended brand film, starting with a six-minute musical film set to an original song ending with our stylised animation. The other video is an interactive animation, using front-end coding to display various layers of the product in a stylised animation ranging from 42 seconds to 53 seconds to educate users about LYCRA’S technology on a mobile site.The videos are to be viewed mostly on mobile phones but is partially available on desktop.
